Ardith Lou Thompson's Obituary
Ardith Thompson, aged 84, of Talala, peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on February 12, 1939, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, to John Jacob Champlain and Maude Della (Kennedy) Champlain. Ardith dedicated many years of her life as a registered nurse, providing compassionate care to those in need.
Ardith is survived by her loving children: Sherry Frost, Danny Frost and his wife Laurie, and Roy Thompson, II and his wife Rita. She also leaves behind a cherished legacy of grandchildren: Elijah Frost, Zachary Frost, Morgan White and her husband Josh, Maeci Thompson, Ashly Hafner and her husband Andy, and Cody Frost. Ardith was blessed with two great-grandchildren, Lane White and Penny Hafner. She is also survived by her sister, Katherine Kerr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maude Champlain, as well as her brothers and sisters: Louie, John Jacob Jr., Lorene, Mickey, Geneva, Leroy, and Shirley. Ardith also mourned the loss of her beloved husbands, Nathan Frost, Roy Thompson, and Ron Coop.
To honor Ardith's life, a visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the Floral Haven Visitation Suites in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, July 21, 2023, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
During her time with us, Ardith touched the lives of many with her kind heart, unwavering dedication, and nurturing spirit. She will forever be remembered for her selfless service as a nurse and her love and devotion to her family. Ardith's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
