Arlie Earl Mooney, 87, minister and was a U.S. Army veteran passed away October 27, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. He was born July 23, 1930 in Prattsville, AR to Arlie Edgar and Elma Nancy (Sheppard) Mooney.Earl received his High school diploma from Prattsville High School and his Masters in Bible Language from Missionary Bible Seminary in Little Rock, AR.He served in the Korean War as Sergeant First Class in the Army with an honorable discharge. While in the Army he met and married the love of his life Reba Sue Phillips. They shared their lives in marriage together on the earth for sixty-two years.Earl served faithfully as a Baptist Pastor and Minister for 55 years in Arkansas, Illinois, Oklahoma and New Mexico.His ultimate joy on this earth was serving the Lord. Arlie Earl Mooney was laid to rest at the Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville, AR.Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 1st, Floral Haven Funeral Home.Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 2nd, South Lakewood Baptist Church, TulsaGraveside service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, November 3rd, Philadelphia Cemetery, Prattsville, AR.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to South Lakewood Baptist Church (6108 E. 20th St., Tulsa, OK 74112) or Bogg Springs Baptist Camp (784 Hwy 84, Wickes, AR 71973)
