Arnold Gene Horner (Arnie) of Tulsa, Oklahoma was born on May 9th, 1948 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Anna Mae Shirel-Keller and AG Horner, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma.Arnie was a retired Supervising Partner for Sonic Restaurants Inc.. He also served in the US Navy from 1969 – 1972 during the Vietnam War. He coached numerous West Tulsa baseball, basketball, and football teams. He loved his family, his OU Sooners, his St. Louis Cardinals, his Tulsa Oilers, his Western Movies and most importantly: his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.He was preceded in death by Mother Anna Mae, Father AG, Brother George Horner of Scottsdale, AZ, and Brother Jackie Horner of Tulsa, Oklahoma.He is survived by his wife, Linda Horner of Tulsa, Stepmother Joanne Horner of Tulsa. Son Allan Capps and Wife Sherrie Capps of Tulsa. Daughter Jamie Maxwell and Husband Phillip Maxwell of Tulsa. Son Anthony Horner of Tulsa. Brother Johnny Horner and wife Darlene Horner of Stillwater, OK and Sister Becky Terhune of Tulsa.He has 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.Services will be held at HillSpring Church at 8801 W 41st St in Sand Springs, Oklahoma on Monday, March 27th 2017 at 11am.Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 26th, from 12pm – 8pm with the family being available from 6pm – 8pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
