Arnoldo Negrete, 66, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on June 28, 2025. Born on February 28, 1959, in Brownsville, Texas, he was the beloved son of the late Jose Pio and Maria (Guzman) Negrete.
A dedicated Supervisor for ISTI Plant Services of Tulsa, Arnoldo was admired for his work ethic and leadership. Outside of work, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing on quiet days and grilling for family and friends. He was especially known for his legendary Baby Back Ribs, which brought people together and left lasting memories.
Arnoldo is survived by his loving son, Waylan Broom; his brother, Gilbert Negrete; his sister, Rosa Zivec; and a host of nieces and nephews who adored him. He now joins in rest his cherished wife, Socorro Elva Negrete; his parents; and his siblings Raymundo, Elvia, Ofelia, Alicia, Lupe, Paula, and Frankie.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A funeral mass celebrating Arnoldo’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Arnoldo’s warmth, humor, and unforgettable cooking will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
