Funeral services for Arthur “JW” James Wallace will be Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 2 PM in the Floral Haven Rose Chapel, 6500 S. 129th E Ave. Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012. with Army Honors to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Veterans Field of Honor. After the service there will be are reception at the Floral Haven Family Center.
The family will greet friends from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Floral Haven Funeral Home..
Sergeant E5, Arthur James Wallace known to his loved ones as JW, humbly passed away from this life to eternal life with Jesus Christ on May 16, 2024 at the age of 59 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a battle with cancer. He was born November 11 1964 in San Diego, California, where he grew up and then entered into the military in 1987 where he served in the Army for 8 years. During that time he met his wife Miss Ginny and upon retirement he had a few odd jobs before starting his career working for the United States Postal Service for next 24 years.
In addition to treasured family JW had a long list of friends to whom he was extremely loyal to and blessed with, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
JW is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia “Ginny” Wallace, step sons Jack Russell Journeycake, Jeffrey Steven Journeycake wife Espranazan, Jonathon Trent Journeycake wife Desirae, his Father Allison James Wallace, Step Mom Diana Wallace , sister Joy Wallace, Karen Cook , sister in law Constance Connie” Toth husband Jamie, and multiple nieces and nephews and grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his mother Virginia Rose Mary Wallace, and his brother Jay Allen Wallace.
