Joshua 1:9
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged , for the Lord your
God will be with you wherever you go.
Friends and family,
Today we gather to celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man. He was
a kind soul, a loving husband, a loving father and a devoted grandfather. His passing leaves a great void in
our lives , but we take comfort in the memories we all shared with him.
Grandpa was a man of great integrity and character. He lived his life with purpose and
compassion, always putting the needs of others before his own. He had a heart of gold
and his selflessness inspired us all to be better people.
One of grandpa's greatest gifts was his ability to listen and he had a way of making us
feel heard and understood. He had a gentle touch and warm smile and always had a kind
word to offer. Grandpa had a great sense of humor and could always make us laugh even
on our worst days. There would be times it would be the same joke or story he just
told you the day before, but what was always fascinating, the story or the joke would be
told the exact same way every time.
But more than anything Grandpa was a family man. He loved us all so very much, he was
our rock, our confidant and our best friend. He taught us the importance of family and the
value of love and support. And to work hard and never be out worked by anyone and
always provide for your family, if one job was not enough.. You got another one!!!
As we say goodbye to Grandpa, let’s take comfort in the memories we shared with him
and carry his spirit with each other always.
Rest in peace Grandpa, I know Grandma was waiting for you with open arms and ready
for your first roller skate lap in Heaven.
God Bless Each and Every One of You.
