This was the most caring and full of life man I have ever known. I worked with him as a nurse's aid and then a R.N., he encouraged me to learn and do more. He sent me to classes to learn more, he saw more in me then I did and encouraged me to do more. He taught me more about medicine than nursing school did. He was down to earth and not above himself to do anything…One night we had five code blues- he pitched in and cleaned a room as another code blue was on the way, in the days when there was only one Dr and only R.N. working the ER at night…there are many stories liked this… He had a story for everything and was great at telling it, whether you believed it or not. You are lived and will be greatly missed !
