Ashley Rachelle Justice's Obituary
Ashley Rachelle Justice, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly from a pulmonary embolism on November 4, 2022, at the age of forty.
Ashley was born in Tulsa on May 30, 1982, to John and Beverly Peterson. She graduated from Memorial High School and attended Northeastern State University. On May 13, 2015, she married Chris Justice after dating for several years. They raised several dogs and loved them as their children: Killer, Rox, Precious, Daisy, and Bailey.
Ashley was a people person who had never met a stranger. Any time there was a gathering of people, she was the life of the party. Ashley shared her sweet and loving nature with anyone she encountered. It was yours if you needed it, and she had something to give. She enjoyed crafting and visiting with friends and family, but her true loves were Chris and the dogs. Ashley will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
Ashley is survived by her husband, Chris, and their three dogs, Bailey, Daisy, and Precious; her brother, Eric Peterson; her sister and brother-in-law, Carrie and Chad Smith; nieces and nephews, Jonathan and Maddie Peterson, Caleb Peterson, Seth Peterson, Megan Smith, and Carson Smith; her grandmother, Lola Phillips; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Ashley is preceded in death by her father, John Peterson; mother, Beverly Peterson; and grandparents, Harold Phillips, Melvin and Marilyn Peterson; and Harold and Geneva Burkett.
A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 PM on November 18, 2022, at the Floral Haven Cemetery Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Donations may be made in Ashley's honor to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
