I anxiously anticipated the birth of baby Aspyn and counted the days with my friend, Sharon. Being a Grandma myself, I told her she would feel love like never before, and she did. We talked early in the mornings and Granny Sharon would tell me of the fun times with Aspyn and forward pictures of her precious grandbaby.We don't know why things happen – only God knows – and we have to put our total faith and trust in our loving Lord at this time. There is comfort in knowing she is in the arms of Jesus and you will be reunited in Heaven some day. She is a lucky kid to have had such loving parents, grandparents, and extended family. May you find solace in knowing that she is feeling no pain and that she will be with you always. Many of us didn't get the chance to meet sweet Aspyn, but her spirit will enrich the lives of all of us who know and love Jon and Lindsay and their families.
