Aubrey Lee Joyce Kee was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on October 14, 2019, at 3:19 am. She passed away on October 15, 2019, at shortly before 4:40 pm while being held by her loving parents, Chase and Bethany.Aubrey’s family and friends waited months for her arrival and then compressed a lifetime’s worth of love into the precious hours and minutes they had with her. In her 37 hours and 21 minutes, Aubrey spent time with her mom and dad and was surrounded by their immense love for her. She also met grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her and welcomed her into their family.True to the traditional rhyme, Monday’s child Aubrey was fair of face. She was a remarkably beautiful baby with curly dark hair that was slightly lighter than her mom’s hair and slightly darker than her dad’s hair. She had her mother’s nose and her father’s long fingers. Aubrey was a perfect blend of her parents.The family thanks the nurses, doctors, and staff of the Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis and Saint Francis Hospital for their support and care.Aubrey leaves behind her parents, Chase and Bethany Kee; grandparents Tom and Kim Kee, Jimmy and Kimberly Chesser, and Michael and Lori Penrose; uncles and aunts Chris and Ashley Parker, Scott and Mallory Kee, Matthew Kee, Zach Penrose and Mallorie Anderson, Dexter Chesser, Callie Chesser, Doug and Amber Waldrop, Kayla Cline, Jakob and Chance Robinson, and many others; great-grandparents Mitch and Cindy Bray, Ronald Kee, and Larry and Janice Steele; great-aunts Susan Kee and Emrys Moreau; great-uncles and great-aunts Tory and Lori Ann Steele, Ron and Kim Wies, Lee and Lori Turner, and others; Cousins Ava and Peyton Kee, and Isabella Parker; And so many others.A celebration of Aubrey’s life will be held on Saturday November 2, 2019, at 5:30 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Room.Aubrey arrived into our world as a gift of love, hope, and promise. Although she is gone, our love for her is still here with us.
