Audie Champion's Obituary
Audie Ray ‘Champ” Champion, 58, of Tulsa, passed away June 15 ,2020. He was born January 25, 1962 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Joe Champion and Helen Lear. Ray loved working in the professional wrestling industry. He really enjoyed volunteering at the Rolling Hills Fire Department beside his wife and daughter. Some of Ray’s passions are playing his guitar, singing and anything that involved music, especially Elvis. NASCAR, reality tv, old westerns and professional wrestling were a few of his favorite things to watch. Ray’s favorite way to have a night out was going to the casino, listening to the bands play and making new friends. Ray was preceded in death by: his parents, Joe Champion and Helen Lear. Ray was survived by: his wife of 28 years, Donna Champion; daughters, Christina Champion of Tulsa, Melissa Cox of Tulsa and Julie Randell of Inola; 9 grandchildren, Justice Cox, Christopher Cox, Andrew Cox, Liberty Borlandelli, Quinten Borlandelli, Marious Richardson, Madeline Borlandelli, Maverick Audie Summers and Layla Summers; 3 sisters, Joeanna Turner, Mary Ann Ruppel and Lilly Skelton of Arkansas.
A service will be held to celebrate Ray’s life at 2PM, Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Inola Christian Church. 30556 S 4200 Rd, Inola, Ok 74036
