Ava Celeste Daniel's Obituary
Ava Celeste Daniel was born on November 23, 2025 and we hold to a strong hope that she is at home with the Lord, now. “Ava” in it’s root form means “ to live” and “Celeste”, “heavenly.” Together, her given name evokes a meaning connotated with life belonging in the heavens. The family will hold to her memory in the light and hope of life eternal. There will one day be a great reunion of those who are kept in Christ Jesus.
Our Good, Wise and Loving Creator numbered Ava’s days from the beginning of time (Job 14:5) — He holds a sovereign authority over the appointed number of days given to every person. We know that “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,” (Psalm 24:1). Our hearts ache; we’re reminded of the brevity of life in view of eternity, but in our present longing for ultimate deliverance, we rest in the hope that she is without sorrow and pain and has been perfected by her Creator, as is the end and the new beginning of every person whose name is written in the Lamb of God’s book of life.
The chromosomal defect that plagued Ava’s body and heart – plagues her no more. Ava’s life on this earth was short but her mom and dad attest that they do not have to wait to see why or how her life will be used unto the glory of God. They want you to know that He has already brought Himself so much glory in their drawing near to Him through her living and dying. Her life has deepened faith, brought to life the biblical one another’s amongst this church family, encouraged believers unto spiritual strength and endurance in the face of life’s deepest sorrow, and driven the anchor deeper still that God leads us through mighty waters and our Hope is set on Jesus.
Ava is survived by her parents, Seth and Lauren Daniel; sisters, Evelyn and Abby; brothers, Sutton and Dax; grandparents Steve and Terri Daniel; Kevin and Tessa Pierce; great grandmothers, Norma Daniel, Herland Johnson, and Floyce Moore; uncles and aunts, James and Tara Newman; Shelby and Chelsea Pierce; cousins Kailea, Maci, Grayson, Julianne, Rhett, and Colt — in addition to many other members of her extended family and this local body of believers.
Ava is preceded in death by her uncle, Cody Daniel, and great-grandfathers Billy Ray Johnson, Ike Daniel, and Terry Ted Moore .
