Avery M Trueblood's Obituary
Avery Martin Trueblood, 80, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2014. Avery was a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Avery was born February 8, 1934 in Hertford, N.C., to Sally and Raymond Trueblood. He was a long time resident of Tulsa, and throughout his life enjoyed many diverse activities, but especially traveling with and spending time with his family. He was a faithful and active member of Victory Christian Center, Tulsa.He is survived by brother Roger Trueblood of Elizabeth City, N.C., and sisters Lessi White, of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Audrey Wittsell of Virginia Beach, Va., daughters Debra Sanders of Bixby, Ok., and Sheila Frasier, of Tulsa, Ok., son-in-law Art Sanders, of Bixby Ok., granddaughter Tanisha Tilghman of Tulsa, Ok., grandsons Justin Dunn of Tulsa, Ok., Michael Harris of Lawton, Ok., great granddaughter Madison Guard, of Tulsa, Ok., and great grandson Daniel Tilghman, of Tulsa.He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Brenda Young, and brother Archie Trueblood.Services will be held September 4, 2014 at Floral Haven Cemetery, at 12:30 P.M. A reception will be held following the service, from 2-4 P.M. Pallbearers will be Randall Graham, Art Sanders, Keith Tilghman, and Michael Harris.
