B. Marilyn Peyton's Obituary
Born to Everett and Elizabeth Weston, December 30, 1929 where she grew up in Logan, Iowa. Through her years of school and beyond she was an accomplished pianist and accompanist. She married her high school sweetheart Bryce Peyton and moved to Omaha where she worked for Westinghouse as a Secretary. After having two children she chose to be a stay-at-home mom. In her pastime she enjoyed sewing and knitting along with making beautiful Christmas Centerpieces. She also enjoyed meeting with a group of ladies playing Bridge for social enjoyment. For a period of time when both children where in school she chose to take a position as a Department Manager for the China Department at Brandise in Omaha, Nebraska. She enjoyed the fine china and became knowledgeable on many china makers, patterns and collectable. Music was an important part of her family and she was very supportive and gave encouragement to her children in all the music and theatrical activities. Through the years she was an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast, enjoyed watching The Lawrence Welk Show and especially enjoyed reading books written by Bill O’Reilly and Biography’s of famous people. She always has had an interest in football but became a football fanatic when adopting the Dallas Cowboys as HER Team while living in Richardson, Texas. She would record and replay many football & Super Bowl games. She was a caring Grandmother to her six Grandchildren and has enjoyed watching her two Great Grandchildren begin their growing years. She is survived by her sister, JoAnn Freethy, her son David M Peyton Sr, her granddaughter, Elizabeth Freeburg (David), her grandson, David Peyton Jr, her granddaughter, Hilary Moravec (Mike), her daughter, Ann E Moyer (Jerry), her granddaughter, Christopher Moyer (Catherine), her grandson, Nicholas Moyer, and her great grandchildren Finley and Lincoln Freeburg. Visiation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 6 pm to 8 pm. Graveside services will be held at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on July 23, 2015 at 10:30 am.
