Barbara Christina Barnett's Obituary
Barbara Barnett, 51, a case worker with DHS, died February 10, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Barbara was a hero to her children, a leader to her famioly, and a source of strength to all who knew her. Her fierce compassion was only surpassed by her love and acceptance of others. Strength from the heart, Wisdom from the mind, Knowledge from the outside, Power from the Spirit within. Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Gordon, Parents, Irvin and Mary (Hellinger) Olendorff; mother-in-law, Delores Etheridge; and aunt: Clara McClain. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association and/or to IBC bank for Raven Barnett. Survived By: children: Todd Barnett, Sara Patterson, Paul Barnett, and Miranda Barnett; her sisters: Anna Hamilton, Catherine Carley, Dorothy Seifried, Pauline Thompson, Agnes Wallick, Martha Callahan, Rosemary Rice, and Helena Tilley; brother, John Olendorff; grandchildren: Kirsten, Damien, Cerridwyn, Shalynn, Raven, Tristan, and A.J., good friends: Bert Flemming and Tamara Langdon, who were brother and sister of Barbara’s heart.
