Barbara Ruth Bryan's Obituary
Barbara (Royer, Farmer) Bryan peacefully passed away in her home surrounded by her beloved daughters and husband on Thursday, August 6, 2009 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her mother Ella Faye Royer, her husband Wilbert Henry Bryan, her two daughters Cammie Farmer Donnell and Michele Farmer Rosdahl, her stepdaughter Scarlett Grewe, and her grandchildren. She is also survived by Kenny, Larry, LeRoy, and Chuck Royer, her four brothers. Her father, Harold Aquilla Royer, preceded Barbara in death. Barbara was born to Ella Faye and Harold Royer on April 26, 1941 in Ottawa County, Oklahoma. She married Samuel E. Farmer and graduated from Joplin High School in 1959. Barbara was a dedicated John A. Brown/Dillards employee in management positions for over 20 years. Following her retirement, Barbara worked part-time for William Sonoma. Barbara married Wilbert Henry Bryan in 2001. Throughout her life Barbara enjoyed many activities and hobbies including needlework, gardening, cooking, and golf with her brothers. Barbara leaves a legacy of love and caring with her children and their families. Barbara’s services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, OK.
