Barbara Elizabeth Charbonneau's Obituary
Barbara Elizabeth (Sutton) Charbonneau, long time resident of Broken Arrow Oklahoma, passed away February 17th, 2017. Barbara, “Barb”, daughter of Horace and Elizabeth Sutton was born on January 19th, 1939 In Buffalo NY. Later in life she married Donald P Kunz and had 3 children. Mary E Cupples, Barbara A King and Daniel P Kunz. The family moved from New York to Miami Arizona where she went to college and earned her degree in Bookkeeping. She went into the moving business and worked for United Moving and Storage, Allied Moving and later after moving to Oklahoma, North American Moving and finally Graebel Moving and storage. During this time she divorced her first husband and married Marcel Charbonneau, and gained 4 step children. Rebecca (Charbonneau) Boland, Marcel Charbonneau III, William Charbonneau and Terry Charbonneau. She traveled many times with Marc as he was a truck driver for Allied Van lines. She retired from Graebel Moving in 2000. Barbara loved family get togethers, BBQ’s and Christmas. She was an avid plate collector from Bradford and had her house decorated according to the seasons. She loved gardening while she was able to and loved to play cards with family and friends. Barbara was very big into the Christmas season and started decorating right after Thanksgiving. She had many friends that she considered family and was loved by many. She is survived by her dearest companion Donald Lowe of Broken Arrow OK and her daughters, Mary and husband Winford Cupples of Tulsa Ok and Barbara King of Georgia. Survived by grand children, Christopher and his wife Danielle Cupples, Jeremy and his wife Jody Cupples, Andrew and his wife Cassandra Cupples, Matthew King and Amanda King. Also survived by great grand children Lillian Cupples and Madison and Nikki Cupples. She was preceded in death by her Husband Marcel Charbonneau and her son Daniel Kunz and her grandson David (DJ) King. There will be a Memorial Service Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Rose Chapel
