Barbara Nell Daniels' Obituary
In Loving Memory of Barbara Nell Daniels
It is with profound sadness that the family of Barbara Nell Daniels announces her passing on January 3, 2025, in Jenks, Oklahoma, surrounded by her beloved family. Barbara was born on March 17, 1937, to Rollie Clarence Maxwell and Dora Ethel (Pense) Maxwell in Jenks, where her life began and came full circle.
Barbara was a woman of boundless kindness and humor, known for her quick wit and vibrant personality. She had a gift for making everyone feel like a friend, seeing the best in everyone she met. Barbara’s love for music often led to joyful, impromptu songs and dances, which brought light to those around her. Her love of color reflected her zest for life and radiant spirit. She was a true original, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Rollie, and Dora Maxwell, her siblings, Carmen Williams, Collene Case, and Rollie Maxwell Jr.
She leaves behind a loving family who cherished her deeply: her husband, Charles Daniels; daughters Becky Hye (Kathi Sain) and Vicky Besser (Fred Besser); grandchildren Harper Creek and Olivia, and Russell Williams. She is also survived by her sister Jane Wallace and numerous nieces and nephews who will continue to honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Tulsa SPCA in Barbara’s memory, reflecting her love for animals and compassionate nature.
Barbara’s vibrant legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
