My fondest memory of Barbara was when Kenneth and I were in the dining room and kitchen with her. Kenneth and I were preparing to move in together. Barbara began going through her kitchen and pulling out pots and pans for us and telling us her mom had done the same for her when she got married. I don’t remember ever feeling more loved and included. I haven’t seen Barbara in decades, but I will always love her and will be eternally grateful for the love and kindness she always showed me. When I picture her, I just see a radiant smile and twinkling eyes. I’m very confident that she moved on with that same smile and twinkle in her soul as she thought of the amazing legacy she leaves behind.
