Barbara Jean McDonald's Obituary
Barbara Jean McDonald passed away on August 14th, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born on May 25th, 1940 in Tucson, Arizona to Bob and Evelyn Fink. She married Bill Dodd in 1958 and they had two children, Robyne (Bob) Chatham and Bryan (Terrie) Dodd. They later divorced. In 1987, Barbara married Tom McDonald and several years later they moved to Germany where Barbara loved to travel, explore the countryside and host her family and friends. She returned to the US and settled in Oklahoma where she completed her Associates degree in social services and began her career working with the elders she loved so much. Barbara had three loves in her life; her family and friends, her art and her animals. She was a loving mother, grammin’ and friend, created beautiful paintings and works of art in oils, watercolor and wood and loved any and all animals with her whole heart. Barbara is survived by her sister Shirley (Tom) Tucker of Chandler Arizona and her brother Larry Fink of Phoenix, Arizona. Her children and their spouses, her grandchildren; Corey (Katherine) Still, Leah and Ian Dodd, Caressa (John) Hinkle, Tiffany Chatham Carter, Teresa (Terry) Wolf and her great grandchildren; Trustin, Shyla and Cannon Still, Devin, Kylar and Christopher McNeil, Paden and Paige Chatham, Kirstein and Trey Wolf and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Kay Fink, sister in law Kathy Fink and grandson Bob Chatham. Viewing will be Thursday, August 16th at Floral Haven from 4-9 with services scheduled for Friday, August 17th at 12:30 in the Floral Haven chapel with pastor Marc Dryer presiding. Interment will be at South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona.
