Barbara Stein's Obituary
Barbara Kay Stein Barbara Kay Stein (Glass) passed away at her home in Claremore, OK on Nov. 2nd, after a two year struggle with cancer. The daughter of Pearl Inez (Hall) Frye and Charles Herbert Glass, Barbara was born on June 27, 1949 in Siloam Springs, AK. She grew to maturity under the care of her grandparents, Raymond and Willord Glass in Springtown, AK. She married Kenneth Sister in Decatur, AK and they share a daughter , Katina (Sister) Moore. Barbara later married John Stein of Claremore, OK. Barbara worked many years for Lee Keeling & Assoc. She later worked for Miss Jackson’s, and Sak’s in Tulsa , OK. Vivacious with a winning personality and a talent for knowing just the right cosmetic solution. She enjoyed the outdoors and took great pride in her flower gardens. She also had a special talent for decorating and design, and a great passion for ballroom dancing. Preceded in death by her father and grandparents. Survived by her husband, John, mother Inez (94), daughter Katina Moore and her companion Donald Vinson, 4 sisters Carol Hernandez of Yorkville, IL, Marilyn Phillips and husband George of Dolin Springs, AZ, Judy Gragg and companion Loyd Whitson of Lawrence, KS, Nina Thomas and husband Ralph of Las Angelos, CA,1 brother Alan Frye and wife Barbara of Moreno Valley, CA, 2 grandchildren Paige Moore and Kenneth Vinson and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral Service 10:00 am, Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Ok. The committal Service will be a 2:30pm, Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Spring Town Cemetery, Spring Town, Ar.
