Barbara Walden's Obituary
Barabara Jean Walden, 80, passed from this life on October 16, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Barbara was born on March 4, 1932 in Nashville, Tennessee to James T. Hestle, Sr. and Irene (Major) Hestle. She met and married James M. Walden on August 26, 1954 in Nashville, Tennessee and they shared many memorable years together until his passing in 2011. She was the Bookkkeeper for Walden Sales. Barbara is survived by her loving children, Jimmy Walden and wife, Greta, Jerry Walden, and Don Walden and wife, Tammy; five grandchildren, Chris Walden and wife, Allison, Diane Saghi and husband, Jason, Joel Walden, Jon Walden, and Ryan Walden; and one great grandson, Luke Walden. She is preceded in death by her husband, James M. Walden; parents, James and Irene Hestle; brother, James T. Hestle, Jr. and sister, Ann Sanders. Donations may be made in Barbara’s honor to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Visitation will be 4:00-9:00 PM Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, October 19, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, Broken Arrow.
