Barbara will be truly missed. She was my favorite resident here at WTR. I miss seeing her every morning she would always make sure she stopped by to tell me hi when she would come down. Love you barbara!!!

Both Dave and I have fond memories of our cousin Barb and are saddened on hearing of her passing. Because of time and distance we were unable to visit, however, we spoke often on the telephone and shared emails from time to time. We will miss those contacts where we reminisced about old times and the people we knew. My condolences to Barbara's family on her passing . My father,, Bervel Russell,, was her first cousin; their fathers being brothers. Dad 's parents both died very young and Dad , an only child , grew up at his Russell grandparents with Warren ,Thelma and the other siblings. Dad remained close to them and later their children until his death .I remember taking Mom to Maine to see Warren before he died . Barbara was home then caring for him . I remember hearing from her on my birthdays when she often reminded me I was just 10 years younger. I remember her sharing her pain on the suffering and loss of loved ones and the indomitable spirit and faith with which she carried on.She is at peace .May that bring comfort to those left behind. Barbara was my first cousin on my fathers side of the family. My dad, John Hanson was Janet's youngest brother. I remember meeting Barbara once when I was a child in Kouchibouguac, New Brunswick Canada at the family homestead where her mother Janet grew up. Janet and Barbara had come home to visit with our Grandmother Hanson. Sending condolences to Earl and his family, and love from your Hanson side of the family.
