Barbara Jean Williams' Obituary
Barbara Jean Williams, 81, of Tulsa, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Barbara was born March 30, 1933 to William J. and Alice Kring Hadl. She married Jack Williams on July 10, 1950 in Lawrence while he was attending the University of Kansas. Barbara was greatly loved by her family and friends. She was noted for her generosity and sympathy towards those in need. On many occasions she would provide entire meals for families who had just lost a loved one. In addition to her husband of 64 years, she is survived by children, Jack Williams, Jr., Pat Sirkis, and her husband, Wes, Kimberly Flanagan, and her husband, Keith, and Lori Williams, all of Tulsa, seven grandchildren, Melanie West, and her husband, Scott, Traci Allen, and her husband, Scott, Matthew Sirkis, and his wife, Kim, Jacob Craig, Maggie Farmer, and her husband, John, Jensen Blough, and Morgan Blough, six great-grandchildren, Maura and Derrick West, Noah Allen, Mary and Ellee Sirkis, Jude Craig, and one on the way, sisters, Darlene Carpenter, and Mickey Carpenter, and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Kathleen Elliott, and brothers, Bill and Bob Hadl. Memorial donations may be made in Barbara’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
