Hall, Barry's Obituary
Barry Eugene Hall, age 63, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025.
He was born on October 10th, 1961, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Clarence and Florine Hall. Barry graduated from Cooley High School.
From a young age, Barry had a passion for both singing and preaching. He joyfully served at United Temple C.O.G.I.C., where he sang in the choir and assisted his pastor and mentor in leading the ministry. It was during his time at United Temple that Barry met the love of his life, LaDonna. They were married in 1982.
In 1986, Barry and LaDonna relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they continued building their family, life, and legacy. They were blessed with two daughters: Elise, born in 1984, and Lauren, born in 1989.
Barry built a successful career in sales, working for several large companies. Through hard work, commitment, and a “can-do” attitude, he quickly rose to the top of his sales teams. He was honored with numerous accolades, bonuses, and incentive trips in recognition of his excellence.
During their early years in Tulsa, Barry and LaDonna became part of Grace Fellowship Church, where Barry faithfully served on the praise and worship team, using his powerful tenor voice to lead others into worship and express his deep love for the Lord.
Yet Barry’s heart always burned to live out the Great Commission. Along with serving in his local church, he regularly visited homeless shelters, prisons, nursing homes, and Ronald McDonald Houses to share the love of Jesus and offer a warm meal to those in need. Often joined by his family, Barry personally covered the cost of these meals, never seeking recognition, only looking to serve.
He also gathered a group of singers and musicians who traveled to churches across the region, using their gifts to help lead others into the presence of God through worship.
In 1998, Barry formally answered the call to full-time ministry and was installed as pastor of a church on the outskirts of Tulsa. That ministry later became Family Fellowship Bible Church, a congregation he and LaDonna led with a heart for the Word of God and a spirit of hospitality.
In 2005, the Hall family joined Victory Church in Tulsa. They were grateful to become part of a church that shared their deep commitment to the Word of God and to serving the community.
Barry was a man of faith, wisdom, and extraordinary generosity. His powerful tenor voice stirred hearts and led many into worship. He loved to sing, cook, and share meals, and he never met a stranger. Above all, Barry had a rare and beautiful gift for making others feel truly seen, deeply valued, and profoundly loved.
He is survived by his devoted wife, LaDonna Hall; two daughters, Elise Thompson (Robert) and Lauren Manley (Jacob); and siblings Vincent Hall, Marcia Hall, Tony Hall (Denise), and Brian Hall (Christine). He also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren who brought him immeasurable joy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Hall; his mother, Florine Daniels Hall; his stepmother, Bessie Hall; and his brothers, Ronald and Derrick Hall.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 10:00 AM at Victory Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:21
