Beatrice Alice Stevens, 82, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2008. Beatrice was born on March 30, 1926 in Kansas City, Kansas to John and Florence (Southerden) Vermeire. Bea met and married Donald Stevens on Oct. 7, 1972 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and they shared many happy years together. She was a secretary for Metropolitan Life. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Fred Hansen; three brothers, Jules, Oscar and John Vermeire and one sister, Leona Sanders. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Floral haven Funeral Home Chapel.Survived By: She is survived by her loving husband, Donald; daughter, Jerry Rountree and husband, Dennis; daughter-in-law, Connie Hansen; grandchildren, Troy Rountree, Heather Hansen and Jennifer Primeaux; step-sons, Mark Stevens and wife, Sharon and Gary Stevens and wife, Cindy and Dennis Stevens and wife, Jill; step-grandchildren, Tiffany Sappington, Zachary Stevens, Nathan Stevens, Kelsey Stevens, Kasey Stevens, Kassie Danker and Philip Stevens; 5 step-great-grandchildren; brother, Marcel Vermeire and wife, Frances; and numerous nieces and nephews.
