I join with the memories of FranÃ§oise, Marilou and MÃ©lisande. We had such good times with Becky and you all, either in France or in Taos. After these days, I often thought of her, so smart, nice and welcoming. The trip we made in Taos has changed our life, thanks Beckyâ?¦ It was so different to France. It made us wanting to visit again New Mexico, and Utah and Colorado, the pure beauty of Nature, a reflection of Beckyâ??s soul perhaps, and we did, several times. Love, Thierry, France

We met in 1993 when we moved to cottage street in New Haven. Rebecca ( leslie, Dom and Kids) came visit us in Paris in July 1998 . Later , in 2001, you invited us to Taos . I remember all the Ansteths very fondly. Suzie was my friend, Philip was very nice, and Dick was always onery. I remember spending time at Suzie's grandparents house on Peoria and later when they built the house right next to Becky's house. Becky was always so sweet anytime I showed up. I remember Bill being big and strong, but so gentle natured. The whole family seemed way above me intellectually, but they never acted that way. My sincerest condolescences to all of you; losing a mother is one of the hardest things I have ever gone thru. I know she will remain in your hearts for always.Janis (Casebolt) Harrington

I remember very fondly an afternoon I spent with Mama. We took a leisurely drive through the Morton Aboretum and then went out for lunch. She was extremely intelligent and lovely woman!

Dear Rebecca, many good things I could say about her. She was warm, had a lot of wit, she was down to earth and she was a classic lady. She spoke a good Spanish language, and we comunÃcate to each other en espaÃ±ol many times. When I used to go to their house to practice songs with Philip, she went to her garden, cut a beautiful flower and put it in a small vase on the table. To me, that was so special. Many things I treasure from those years in Tulsa. Meeting Rebecca was wonderful. She enriched my life. I love her. Philip, my dear Philip, what a good mother you had and still have. She will never be away from you. Rosa.

I loved working for your Mom and Dad at Thomas Landscape & Nursery. They were both wonderful people and so kind to me. I was just out of high school and worked every summer for them until I graduated and started teaching. You boys were in elementary school and Susie had not started school yet and I remember when I found out her real name was Leslie, what a surprise.
