Becky Lynn Breedlove's Obituary
Becky Lynn Breedlove, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Jack Merle and Norma Jean Hyde, went to be with her Lord and Savior July 25th, 2025, at the age of 73. Becky's life was marked by integrity, devotion and unwavering faith.
After graduating from Tulsa's Daniel Webster High School in 1970, Becky went to work as a medical assistant for pediatrician Dr. Loren V. Miller. After the arrival of her first born, Becky chose to become a full-time and devoted homemaker and mother. Once her boys achieved a level of independence, Becky began her employment at Neurological Associates which continued for twenty-four years.
Becky was a life-time attendee of Carbondale Assembly of God where she was dedicated as an infant, taught Sunday school for many years, and was a faithful member.
After a ride on his motorcycle in 1965, Becky began dating her future husband, Allan Dale Breedlove. The two were married on December 20, 1969 at Carbondale Assembly of God and built a loving and faith-focused home together, which lasted 55 years.
Besides being a faithful and fully devoted wife to her husband, Becky was also a faithful and devoted daughter to her mother. Nightly phone calls with her mother were a daily occurrence throughout her life.
Becky's passions included her family, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed family gatherings and holidays with her favorites being Christmas and July 4th. She loved decorating her home inside and outside with Christmas decorations. She enjoyed tending to her flower beds which she maintained year-round. During her illness, Becky enjoyed the peacefulness of sitting on the porch at the lake house on Fort Gibson Lake.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Merle and Norma Jean Hyde, of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Becky is survived by her husband Allan Dale Breedlove, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son Justin Breedlove, his wife Jamie and their daughter Jenna of Jenks, Oklahoma; son Jared Breedlove, his wife Jeri and their children Kyler and Brooke also of Jenks. Becky is also survived by five cousins; Don Hyde and wife Zelinda of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Sheryl Green and husband Dick of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Jacalyn Pack of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; James Fox and wife Beth of Gore, Oklahoma; John Fox and wife Sue of Gore, Oklahoma.
Becky's life was a living testament to grace, humility and God's enduring love. She will be deeply missed and eternally celebrated.
