Benjamin Thomas Hall Jr.'s Obituary
Benjamin Thomas Hall, Jr., wonderful father, adored Grandpa, great grandpa and great-great grandpa passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the age of 98.
Ben (to much of his family he was known as Tommy) was born to parents Benjamin Sr. and Sarah Hall on July 8, 1926, in Yonkers, New York. After graduating from high school he served his country in the Army Air Corps and was honorably discharged as a Sargent in 1947. He caught the admiring eye of Grace Potter and they were joined in marriage as soulmates on September 17, 1949 in White Plains, New York.
Ben continued a career of service as a police officer for the city of Bedford, New York. Ben and Grace took their family and moved from New York to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1967. He again found a career of service as a mailman for the United States Post Office until he retired in 1987.
Ben devoted his life to his family and was the proud “Daddy of 3 Girls”. He enjoyed square dancing with his beautiful wife Grace and traveling with her enjoying many road trips together. He and Grace spent many happy years watching their family grow and their home was that special place where love, kindness, fun, many happy holiday family gatherings, and a healthy dose of spoiling the grandkids could be found.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin Sr. and Sarah Hall, his older brother William Hall, his older sister Lucille O’Mara and the love of his life Grace Hall. He is survived by his 3 Girls, Arlene Hayes and husband Rick, Donna Sears and husband Dan, and Christine King and husband James; his grandchildren: Jason Hayes and wife Angela (great grandchildren Jacquelyn Allen and husband Donovan, Patrick, Zavian, Arona, Jackson, Elizabeth; and 3 great-great grandchildren); Justin Bohn and wife Santamaria (great grandchildren: Paige, Zoe, Kolton, Raylynn, JT); Jeff Bohn (great grandchildren: Ethan, Brooklyn, Brinley); Joshua Hayes (great grandchildren: Caleb, Camryn, Kaylin); Hawaii Casey and wife Christina Sears; Erica Smith and husband Jesse (great grandchildren: Jack, Graham); Tiffany Guzman (great grandchildren: James, Breelyn); Amanda Frank (great grandchildren: Oliver).

Ben leaves a legacy of a simple life well lived and the finest example of loving his family with all his heart and giving of himself expecting nothing in return. His light will forever bring warmth and joy to all that were blessed to know him.
