Benjamin Wesley Houchin's Obituary
Houchin, Benjamin Wesley born on April 19, 1964 in Omaha Nebraska. Raised in Bartlesville, OK. Passed away Dec. 13, 2004. Residing in Tulsa, Ben was a master technician in the motorcycle industry for the past 20 years. He joined the Tulsa Police department as a Reserve Motorcycle Officer, where he earned the sharpshooter medal. He was respected by his peers as one of the best motorcycle officers in Tulsa. He was the proud father of two daughters, Ashlee and Shalee of OKC. He leaves behind his beloved soul mate, Teresa Moore of the home; his parents, Sally and Robert Ashe of Bartlesville and Susie and Lou Houchin of Sand Springs; sister, Yvonne and spouse Paul Dozier of Owasso; brother, Lee and spouse Sara Houchin of Corinth, Texas; sister, Erin Ashe of Bartlesville; brother, Robby Ashe of Tulsa. He is also survived by his close friend and brother Randy Reed of Coweta; one niece and three nephews and all of his many loved and cherished friends and family. Benjamin’s memorial service is at 1:00 pm, Thursday, at the Church on the Move (I244 & 129th East Ave), internment is at Floral Haven Cemetery. A college fund for his daughters has been set up at Triad Bank, box 35567, Tulsa, Oklahoma, in care of Kim Shrum.
