To the whole big, wonderful McIntosh family.
I can't help but smile at so many good memories of Ben and of Georgia and all four of the children they were blessed by.
Home Gardens brought lots of good people into my life, but none as happy and smile giving as Ben.
Georgia gave me marriage advice once, "Be good and faithful, no matter what. On the bad days, forgive and on the good ones, be thankful." Ben came up behind her, grinned at me and said, "Isn't she lucky?" She smiled and said, "Got any advice for her and Ted?" He just shrugged and said, "Make each other happy...that's it." They shared a smile and he went on. ♡
I'll never forget it. It was almost 38 years ago.
Blessed by them.
Ben was always good at creating a nickname for people. Mine was Sparky. It was for my name and where I was born. I loved it!!! I so wish I could be there today with the family but I will be thinking of you all day. Love, Sparky
Jerry, Thoughts and prayers are with your family. I will never forget all the good times from so long ago. Your dad was one of a kind.
