Benjamin "Ben" Tipton, III's Obituary
Benjamin F. Tipton, III, known affectionately by all as Ben, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 81 years old. He was born in Weslaco, Texas on June 24, 1944 to Nylene and Benjamin Tipton II. Ben’s family was the most important thing to him. He was a Texan and proud of it! He was an avid football fan and had to be neutral because of the “Divided House”.
He is survived by His wife, Karen Tipton; his children: Kathleen Collier, Kristen Garrett, Karen Earle and Kevin Tipton; his grandchildren: Kailey Collier, Josh Garrett, Hunter and Chloe Collier, Peyton Earle, Tyler Collier, Lauren Earle, Brady Garrett, Jaxon Garrett and Cameron Garrett; his sister: Barbara Lett of Granbury, Texas; his brothers: Russell Tipton of Tulsa and Tommy Tipton of Oklahoma City area.
A celebration of Bens life will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 2pm at Floral Havens Rose Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Pastor Darryl DeBorde officiating. He will be laid to rest at Floral Havens Rose Mausoleum.
