Benjamin Von Wagoner's Obituary
Benjamin Von Wagoner
Beloved- Mighty- Eternal
Our miracle baby boy was born March 18, 2025 at 3:13 AM and went to be with the Lord on May 5th, 2025 at 8:13 PM sleeping on his mommy’s chest.
Benjamin was born premature and was diagnosed with Trisomy-13, also known as Patau Syndrome-a genetic condition caused by an extra copy of the twelve chromosomes, leading to physical abnormalities, and often death, commonly resulting in a short life-expectancy.
We are thankful for the uncommon and miraculous life Benjamin lived for 8 months inside his mother womb and 49 days on earth conquering odd after odd.
Benjamin was born with respiratory challenges due to cleft pallet and a small airway but a strong an enduring spirt and a soul that didn’t shrink from his challenges. In fact his heart, which, was said to be his weakest organ, continued beyond the rest being the strongest of all. He came back to life three times in his short life and at every turn, by the Lord’s love and faithfulness, Benjamin stood, endured and saw the salvation of his God.
Benjamin impacted a lot of people in his days on earth. He taught us how to count life and family as precious and to never take them for granted. He was greatly blessed and loved by Jesus, his parents, his siblings, his grandparents, extended family, church, and friends. He will be remembered as a strong and mighty warrior in Christ beating all the odds and he will be greatly missed.
His name Benjamin means son of my right hand and son of my strength and his middle name-Von means Hope. He was affectionately called “Benji Von” by his grandfather Joaquin.
Named Benjamin by his Parents his legacy will be one of continued presence, strength and life till we see him again. He will always be wrapped up in our hearts and favored in our family. His story is not one that his diagnosis gets to speak but one that the Great Redeemer has the only authority to pen. Benjamin’s story, as well as his life and freedom, are written and redeemed by the One who took his lot and drank his cup for him-The Lion of the Tribe of Judah who has prevailed-Jesus. In Him Benjamin has won his greatest battle and after having done all to stand remains standing his ground in Christ at rest in his Exceedingly Great Reward.
“He will care for you as a shepherd tends his flock, gathering the weak lambs and taking them in his arms. He carries them close to his heart and gently leads those that have young.”
Isaiah 40:11 TPT
“Now may God, the fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!”
Romans 15:13 TPT
