Benley Ann Cummings' Obituary
Benley Ann Cummings, born August 20, 1947, in Miami, Oklahoma, to Benny Ralph Campbell and Gloria Ann Campbell (Smith), passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Benley was a spirited and loving woman whose heart belonged wholly to her family. She was fiercely family-oriented, always opening her home—and her heart—to her children and grandchildren. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand, often babysitting the grandkids and making sure everyone felt special, seen, and loved.
Her warmth extended far beyond her family. Benley never met a stranger, she introduced her children to everyone she encountered, spreading kindness wherever she went. She had a deep respect for first responders and instilled that appreciation in her children, always making sure they thanked the firefighters and police officers they came across.
Benley had a deep love for music, especially Christian music and the oldies, and rarely missed an episode of The Price is Right or her favorite crime shows. A lifelong Pepsi drinker, she sipped her beloved soda faithfully until the very end. In her younger days, she enjoyed an active life filled with tennis, swimming, and singing in a band. As a baby, she even graced the world as a model.
She is survived by her loving children: Quincy Cummings and his wife Johanna, Juelye Nelson and her husband Bobby, and Travis Cummings and his wife Michelle. She leaves behind her dear brother, Eric Campbell, and his wife Kathy. Benley’s cherished grandchildren—Ryanne Nelson, Luke Cummings, Dylanne Nelson, and Cheyenne Haag—will carry on her legacy of love and laughter. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Sebastijan Haag and Santiago Haag; her treasured grandpups, Bullet, Choncho, and Chewie; and a host of extended family and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents.
Benley Ann Cummings lived a life full of music, laughter, gratitude, and unwavering love. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing her.
“She never met a stranger, and now she rests in peace among friends.”
