Bessie Blanche Mathews' Obituary
Mathews, Blanche, 93 of Tulsa went to be with her Lord on March 25, 2012. She was born in Tahlequah, OK to Wade and Callie Hamilton. Blanche was the current longest licensed working beautician in Oklahoma and was still fixing hair until her passing. She loved her clients and they all became friends, she would often say that her dream was that heaven had a beauty shop. Blanche was known for her love of her church and the strong work ethic that she displayed throughout her life. She is survived by her husband Wayne Mathews and daughter Judy Butler; grandsons Randall and Wesley Butler; great-grandchildren Callie, Jonathan, and Faith Butler; Brother Steve Hamilton and Sister Juanita Hamilton. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 3:00 P.M in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Online condolences may be made at floralhaven.com
