Bessie Snell, born in 1937, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024, Born and raised in Tulsa, her parents were Charlie and Bessie Wood.
She was married to Gregory Scroggins and had one son Anthony Gregory Scroggins.
A remarkable woman known for her warm heart and resilient spirit, Bessie lived her life with purpose and determination.
She leaves behind a rich legacy that includes her son, Anthony Scroggins. Her influence will continue to live on through him, and her memory will be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
She spent her last years with her cousin Joyce Havice who cared for her in every way. She suffered from dementia that slowly took her memory’s but never her love for her son, children and family. Her last moments demonstrated the words of telling her son she loved him. Looking at both Joyce and her son with the most beautiful smile.
As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her life, full of love, kindness, and resilience. She will forever be missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire us.
