Arline Hickman Johnson
I'm curious if this is the same Mrs. Woodruff who substituted at Bryant Elementary School in the 1950's. I can't remember which year. I was having a really hard time as I was very shy. Mrs. Woodruff showed such love and compassion for we students and I felt safe while she was there. I bumped into her in the late 1960's and told her she would always be remembered by me. She shared it was the year she had lost her son and we students helped her get through the loss. She was a wonderful lady and I will never forget her. All teachers should strive to be the teacher she was. Arline Hickman Johnson
