Bunch, Bethel Ann's Obituary
Bethel Bunch, 82, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma went to be with Jesus on August 25, 2024 at Franciscan Villa. She was born May 27, 1942 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Cordell and Edith (Frisby) Cochran.
She graduated from Webster High School (Tulsa, Oklahoma) in 1960.
On March 24, 1961 she married Ewel Bunch in Skiatook, Oklahoma.
She worked along side with her mother, sister and daughter at her mother's flower shop (Edith's Flower Shop) in Berryhill, Oklahoma.
She enjoyed reading (Sue Grafton, etc), watching murder mysteries, listening to music and sitting in the front yard or porch visiting with neighbors. In the mornings she had her Folgers coffee and apple fritter. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life.
She was a member of the Broken Arrow Nazarene Church, throughout the years she volunteered at VBS and in the nursery.
Bethel was known for her kindness, who loved her family and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Ewel, parents Cordell and Edith Cochran, brother William Cochran, nephew Mark Cochran; in laws Rev. Clay and Gladys Bunch; brother in laws Dale Conaway, Loy Bunch and Thomas Langford.
She is survived by: Karen (daughter) Jade (grandcat)
Kay Conaway (sister), Nicole Conaway (niece), Alex and Bethany Conaway (nephew and niece in law); grand niece Dani, great nephews Phillip and Cole.
