Bettie J Bradley's Obituary
Bettie Bradley, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and neighbor, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born July 7, 1939, in Mena, Arkansas, to Odis and Cora Miller.
Bettie lived a full and meaningful life, devoted to her family, her work, and her community. For over 30 years, she was employed with Southwestern Bell, where she built lasting friendships and earned the respect of her coworkers. Early in life, she worked as a nurse's aide, where her compassionate and caring nature shone brightly as she helped care for others. Bettie’s love for children, her sweet spirit, and her willingness to help those around her extended to her fellow residents at assisted living, where she became a source of comfort and joy to many.
She had a wide variety of interests that brought her happiness. Bettie loved watching horror films, solving puzzles, reading, and playing bingo. She enjoyed spicy foods and could often be found sharing a laugh or conversation with her neighbors. Her church family was important to her, and her faith guided her throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Ray Bradley and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter Jamie DuFriend, daughter Melody Hackfeld, son Greg Bradley, brother Kenneth Miller, sister Vivian Lee, grandchildren Cara Campbell, Matthew Bradley, Casey Hackfeld, Jesse Hackfeld, Derick DuFriend, Hannah DuFriend, 5 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
Bettie will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and her ability to make everyone feel loved and cared for. She was truly a blessing to all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 24th, 2025, from 12-5 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 25th, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
Interment will take place at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens - Sermon on the Mount
