Bettie Louise Cooper's Obituary
Bettie Louise Cooper, 86 of Broken Arrow passed away at St John’s Hospital in Broken Arrow on January 24, 2016. Bettie was born on January 11, 1930 in Houston, Texas to Albert and Mamie Lemke. Bettie married Jack Cooper on June 11, 1948. She retired from the Houston Independent School district as Secretary at Sharpstown High School in Houston Texas. After retiring Bettie and her husband moved to Hot Springs and Springdale Arkansas before moving to Broken Arrow in 2008 where Bettie and Jack were members of The Assembly in Broken Arrow, OK. Bettie was a devout Christian and loved Jesus Christ and her family. Bettie loved people and was always looking at ways to be a Blessing to her family and friends. She cherished her family time and loved to travel. Bettie always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. Bettie was preceded in death by her son Jackie and her husband, Jack of 64 years. She is survived by her daughter, Debby Holzmer, four granddaughters, Kara, Kristen, Katie and Kimberly and 5 great grandchildren, Anna, Luke, Karoline, Annaliese and John David. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. January 27, 2016 in the Floral Haven Rose Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma followed by burial, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
