Betty Ann Bettis was born on September 22, 1938, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her parents were Charles Otis and Opal Rose (Young) Summers. Betty’s passion was being outdoors, fishing, especially with her family. She loved doing anything for them, helping them out in any way she could. One could see her sitting outside picking out pecans, that her brother, Boe had dropped off. John brought her great comfort , support, and enjoyment being with her and taking care of her. She loved how he catered to her. Betty was survived by her children: John Johnson, Julia Williams, Jeannie Ames, Edna Wyant, and Mary Huelsenbeck; one sister: Loretta Robertson; two brothers Joe Sumner and Boe Summers; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Charles Otis and Opal Rose Summers; children: Jack Edwards Johnson, James Quincy Johnson, Tony Ray Johnson; brother: Earl Summer; sisters: Louise Shattoe and Neoma Simmons; granddaughter: Carmelita Ames and a grandson; and four great grandchildren; and the father of her children: Johnny Johnson.
