You are finally HOME! It has been a hard fought race but you finished strong! I can’t imagine what it is like to see Jesus! It is hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that you are with your mom, who you dearly loved, and dad, Bud, Richie, Marlee, Johnny as well as all of our family who have moved there, not to mention all of the heroes of faith that we learned about in church. What an awesome thought!Although, I will miss you here, I know I haven’t “lost a loved one” because you’re not “lost”, I know exactly where you are — Heaven! Mother, thanks so much for being such a great mother! You taught me so many things and were such a role model to me. I can’t even begin to tell you how you have changed my life. I have the best memories of us dropping you off at work at night and you getting out so pleasant and cheerful even though it was 10:30 at night. I remember thinking, “I want to know her and I want to be like her”. We’ve gotten thru some really tough times but you never complained about the struggle. You’ve shown me how to love unconditionally, and for that I will ever be grateful. We have laughed, cried, enjoyed watching movies, and we’ve prayed together. I love you, and one day I know I will see you again.
