Betty Brumble passed away on April 10, 2024, in Jenks, OK at the age of 95. She was born on September 26, 1928, in Nashville, MO
Betty was a vibrant soul who lived her life to the fullest. She had a deep love for music and was a dedicated concert-goer, always enjoying a good time at the George Strait concerts. Betty cherished her family above all else and found joy in spending time with them, whether it was camping, gardening, or playing cards together.
A happy and positive person, Betty's faith in Jesus was unwavering, guiding her through life's ups and downs. She loved to travel with her family, making memories at casinos, bingo halls, and exploring new places.
Betty Brumble will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Kirby Brumble, Gerald Brumble, and wife, Julie daughters Louise Pittman, Teresa Woodfin, and husband Don Woodfin, Janet Jarboe brother Robert Lawson, and wife Susan sisters Barbara Chilcoat, Frances Mayo, Wilma Harrison, Bonnie Manus, Karen Wood, and husband Johnny Wood, Sister-in-law Phyllis Lawson wife of Gary Lawson. Many grandchildren as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, cousins and loved ones.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Jackie Dean Brumble, Mother Thelma Lawson, father Burt Lawson SR, and sons, Edward Dean Brumble, Darrell Dwain Brumble and, brothers Bert Lawson Jr. and Gary Wayne Lawson, sisters Mary Scrivner, Georgia Ratliff and, grandson Jonathan Best jr.
Rest in peace, dear Betty. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 15, 2024 from 5 to 7 P.M.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 16 at 3:00 P.M. at Floral Haven Funeral Home chapel
