Betty Jo Clayton's Obituary
Betty Jo Clayton, age 64 of Coweta, Oklahoma passed away at her home peacefully with her family at her side after a courageous battle with brain cancer on January 30, 2012. She was born on October 31, 1947 in Welch, West Virginia to Clinton and Beulah French. Betty attended school in West Virginia, graduating from Welch High School. She married James 'Jim' G. Clayton on January 22, 1966. Betty and Jim lived in Manitowoc, Wisconsin for 43 years before moving to Coweta. She worked as a secretary for Invincible Office Furniture before retiring. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Beulah French. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jim Clayton; children, Chad Clayton and his wife Staci of Flagstaff, AZ, and Rachael Willoughby and her husband Noah of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Casey, Kira, Raine Clayton and Sydney and Braeden Willoughby; sister, Patricia Miller; niece, Pamela Forbes. The family wishes to thank St. Francis Hospice and MD Anderson Cancer Center for their compassion and care. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012, 3:00 PM in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, OK. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM ' 1:30 PM on Saturday.
