Betty Eighner's Obituary
Betty Eighner, born on January 11, 1948, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, peacefully departed this world on November 10, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the cherished daughter of Benjamin Ernest and Letha Hammond.
A devout Christian, Betty's unwavering love for the Lord was evident in her active involvement in church life. She never knew a stranger, embodying warmth and genuine kindness to all she encountered. Betty's church family was a significant part of her life, and her compassion and caring nature endeared her to everyone around her.
Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Jane Eighner, along with her son John Eighner and brother Bobby Hammond, and her sister Joyce Bowery. She is also remembered by her grandchildren Jaxten, Elijah, and Wesley.
While mourning Betty's passing, her family fondly recalls her caring and compassionate spirit, a testament to her genuine nature that persisted until the very end.
Betty is preceded in death by her brothers Otto, Leo, Cleo, Ozzo, and Lee Roy Hammond. Though she has left this earthly realm, the memories of her kindness and the impact she had on the lives of those around her will be cherished forever. May she rest in eternal peace.
Visitation will be held Friday, Nov 17, 2023 from 5-7 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Floral haven Funeral Home Chapel
Interment will follow after the services
