Betty J. "Jeanne" Dikeman's Obituary
Bettye J. “Jeanne” Dikeman, 85, passed away January 8th in Tulsa, OK. She was born March 10, 1928 in Tulsa, OK to Linda and Eugene Roddy. She was raised in Tulsa, where she attended Webster High School. She retired from First Tulsa National Bank in 1985 where she served as Asst. VP of Loans. Jeanne was a member of the Tulsa Mrs. Club where she served as president in 2007 to 2008. She loved to travel with her husband Jack. She had a great passion for cooking (her culinary artistry was legendary) and enjoyed spending time with her beloved Yorkies Twinkie and Hannah. She was a very loving, energetic, happy person, who was known to light up any room with her presence. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She was proceeded in death by her daughter, Susan Smith. She is survived by her husband, Jack Dikeman, her step-sons, Terry and Randy Dikeman, her daughter in-law Lucy Gunn-Dikeman, her grandchildren, Cory Dikeman, Jennifer and Brian Schnelle, Khalin Higgins, January and Patrick Gilmore, her great-grandchildren, Brandon Schnelle, Noah Higgins, Ryan Schnelle and Madison Higgins. Memorial services will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, OK, Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 12:30pm. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jeanne’s name to one of her favorite foundations, the ASPCA or any other animal rescue foundation.
