Betty Jo Jarvis' Obituary
On the afternoon of July 24th 2014, Betty Jo Jarvis entered into eternal rest at the Grace Living Center in Jenks, where she was a resident. She was 86 years old.Betty Jo Keaton was born on December 29, 1927 in Haskell, Oklahoma to Millard and Inez Keaton. She fell in love with the love of her life, Raymon Jarvis and were married. God blessed them with their only child Randy.Betty was an avid bowler in her younger years and won many trophies. She loved dogs and nature and long walks in the woods. She loved picking up pecans.Life changed for Betty on June 28, 1972. At the Sapulpa Holiness Camp Grounds, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She loved missions, church, and had a giving heart to people in need. She was a prayer warrior and believed in putting her faith and trust in Jesus Christ.Betty was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister Louise Martin and husband Adrith, and her beloved husband, Raymon Jarvis.She is survived by her son Randy Jarvis and wife Terri. Grand children: Aaron Jarvis and wife Leah, Matthew Jarvis, Rachel Vanzant and husband Don, Rebecca Cobble and husband Joseph. Great grandchildren: Caleb Cobble and Madelynn Vanzant. Nieces Linda Lawson and husband Ronald, Delores Beighle and husband John. Great-nephew Victor Lawson and wife Debra, and J. B. Beighle. Great-niece Adrea Gaines and husband Jonathan. Great-great nieces Olivia Lawson, Adrianna Beighle, Presley Beighle, and Hayden Haulcomb. Great- great nephews – Ethan Lawson and Baron Gaines.Betty was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Her presence will be greatly missed, but knowing she is in Heaven makes us rejoice and look forward to seeing her again.
