Betty Jean Kellams' Obituary
Betty Jean Kellams, 97, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life, Saturday, January 21st, 2023, in Broken Arrow. Betty was born April 5th, 1925, to Laurence Craig and Mercy Mabel (Peterson) Riseling in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life Donal Wallace Kellams February 3rd, 1947 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Arrow Heights Baptist Church. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary Woodward; and her husband Donal Wallace Kellams on January 1st, 1990. She is survived by her daughter Nancy, and husband Waid (Broken Arrow, OK), her son Donal (Lebanon, TN), and her brother Laurence Craig Riseling Jr. (Blackwell, OK). Betty has four grandchildren: Dustin Davis and wife, Jessica Davis, Katie Davis, Melissa Beard, Melanie Byers and husband, Kyle Byers; eight great-grandchildren: Addie Davis, Emerson Davis, Malachi Davis, Jaxen Scott, Harley Scott, Halie Beard, Adam Beard, and Hunter Byers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Memorials can be made in Betty’s name to John 3:16 or to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home with Chaplain Crystal Guest officiating
