Betty Nance's Obituary
Betty Nance, 90, was born on January 8, 1928 in Springfield, Missouri and passed away on August 25, 2018 in Owasso, Oklahoma.Betty was known as a skillful seamstress- she could do any kind of fine needlework and finished a number of amazing quilts. She enjoyed a variety of activities such as square dancing and traveling, visited 49 states in the RV. She considered her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to be her greatest of achievements. Betty loved her church and was involved in the choir and women’s group.Betty was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Christena Bradfield; sisters Evelyn Severe, Ethel Woytisek, and Barbara Davis; brother Don Bradfield; and granddaughter Emily Nance.She is survived by her loving husband Robert Nance; Daughters Evelyn Sisemore and Josh O’Shae, and Darla and husband Max Boydstun; sons Russell and wife Yvonne Nance, and Ronald and wife Linda Nance; grandchildren Summer Castillo, Ryan Sisemore, Danielle Chappell, Demi Smith, and Taylor Nance; and great grandchildren Camden, Stryker, and Lextyn Chappell, Kyler and Rylen Sisemore, Maximus and Axel Castillo, and Dru and Dex Smith.Visitation will take place on Monday, August 27, at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 5 pm – 8 pm.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 28, 12:30 pm at the Floral Haven Chapel.
