Betty Ruth Payne, 87 of Coweta, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, November 23, 2020 in Coweta, Oklahoma. She was born February 14, 1933 to her parents, Lonnie and Marie Cagle. She married the love of her life, Lester Payne on June 28, 1951 and they shared in over 56 years together before his passing in 2007.
Betty is survived by three children, Loren Payne and his wife Melody of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Nelda Stites of Coweta, Oklahoma and Natha Williams of Coweta, Oklahoma; two siblings, Lena Edwards of Coweta, Oklahoma and Richard Cagle of California; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Marie Cagle; her husband, Lester Payne; two children, Ray Payne and Wilma Irwin; and two siblings, Allen Cagle and Mary Lou Welch.
